Study On The Medical Insurance Management Of College Students In Guangzhou

The medical insurance for college students is an important component of social insurance system,and it also as the key for how to instruct harmonious socialist campus.The medical insurance for college students has been brought into the urban residents’ basic medical insurance system since 2009.Actually,it has bloomed these years,but some of colleges still lack of systematic research for the administration,then some medical insurance jobs are hard to govern.In some instances,different colleges set different sectors to handle students’ medical insurance in their school under different management philosophy in Guangzhou,such as some sectors managed by school hospital,some managed by rear service and some managed by student service.The quality of human resources in these medical insurance sector is not neat so that some of these sector’s officers are composed by professional administrators or nonprofessional part-time workers.Sometimes,even different college has different health care policy.In this case,how to organize and arrange the medical insurance for college students would be a big problem and difficult job.In addition,colleges have low willingness to purchase the insurance,the health care publicity and advertising cannot target what the student’s demand,and the service cannot get help efficiently once they get sick or injury.Meanwhile,the recent school hospital’s medical facility,medical technology and nursing service cannot satisfy student’s need,and then it actually make students unwilling to buy the insurance.These negative factors explain why the students’ medical insurance is hard to run on the public.In this case,to analyze and study the system and issues of students’ medical insurance system,which has been brought into the urban residents’ basic medical insurance system,is meaningful and important.As a person in charge of the students’ medical insurance in a college in Guangzhou,in order to provide convenient,efficient,and rapid services for students who bought medical insurance,on the basis of Guangzhou’s health care policy of educational system,I selected three colleges in Guangzhou as samples,conducted a questionnaire survey of the students and interviewed with some medical insurance commissioners.According to the medical insurance policy of students,to combine the specific health care working procedure and the theory ofpublic management,I analyzed and discusd the current medical insurance issues and the policy administration of health care system in colleges,and then put forward suggestiongs according to the existing problems.
