Empirical Study On The Present Situation Of College Students Participating In Basic Medical Insurance For Urban Residents In Chongqing

In the framework of the national health insurance, our country haspublished the relevant policy, putting the undergraduate into the urbanresident basic medical insurance category. Since then, most of urbanworkers, urban residents, farmers and university students have beencovered by medical security system of our country, taking a big step to"everyone can enjoy the basic health", which will be helpful formaintaining the social justice and safeguarding the social stability.This paper is a investigation that mainly aims at the implementation ofcollege students’ medical insurance in Chongqing. We extracted3collegesof Chongqing as sample randomly, and then the questionnaire survey wasconducted to700students. In addition, we interviewed to the specializedteacher of the medical insurance office, and got the related material aboutthe undergraduate participating in the urban basic medical insurance.According to the investigation in university students of Chongqing toparticipate in the basic medical insurance of urban residents, we draw thefollowing conclusions: the ratio of college students to participate in the basic medical insurance for urban residents is not high in Chongqing, thedegree of government participation is low, the number of students whoSubmit an expense account on medical expenses are less, thereimbursement rate is low, the benefits of college students received is lessand the difference of the enrollment rate among each grade is large.Through the statistical analysis to the material of college students toparticipate in urban resident basic medical insurance, we can know therelated factors and college students’ two weeks of risk factors.This thesis in view of the problems of chongqing college students’medical treatment insurance, put forward many Suggestions to improvecollege students’ medical insurance from the point of the government,school, student individual and society. We hope that students can be bettersafeguarded by medical insurance protection, and finish their studiessuccessfully.
