With the rapid development of smartphones,it is obvious that more and more people are using smartphones to surf the Internet,which breaks the limits of traditional social mode in time and space.Compared to social interaction through words,social interaction through pictures features straight information communication and few barriers.Consequently,more people are using pictures to communicate and express their feelings.When it comes to picture social interaction users,many questions remain unanswered.What motivations drive them to carrying on picture social interaction? And do these users have particular preferences? Do they obey a certain tactic or strategy to construct their images? Questions I'd like to find out are as above.This article is trying to find out picture social interaction users' self-presentation strategies.Based on surveys carried out by previous scholars,this article also optimizes the self-presentation tactics scale in order to better examine actual conditions.In the actual operation the author collected 319 formal questionnaires as first-hand data,in the latter part we did reliability analysis,validity analysis,correlation analysis to test the hypothesis.Through the study we found that most picture social interaction users have the motivation of life log,information acquisition and social communication.And they employ ingratiation,enhancement,intimidation,exemplification,entitlement and apology mostly.It is proved that motivation and behaviors are closely relevant to the self-presentation strategies in different levels.The study also provides some advice to improve the experience of picture interaction users.
