Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Ideological And Political Education In Colleges Based On NSSE

In our country, the ideological and political education in Colleges and universities mainly through education and teaching can be achieved, ideological and political theory course undertakes teaching task of College Students' self values,relevant theory of socialist, Marxist theory, ideological and political education of college students the main way of size and position, but the ideological and political education in Colleges and universities still exist some problems. At present, for the evaluation of the effect of Ideological and political education, most universities are using the traditional evaluation method, students pay too much attention to external inputs, ignoring the dominant position of students in teaching activities and educational achievement. Viewpoint of this paper from "take the student as the center of education", from the "National Survey of Student Engagement"(NSSE)assessment tools, localized versions of the NSSE-China, of Nanjing Forestry University Students Ideological and political learning investment research, collect the students to set up the University Ideological and political course of the teaching content, teaching methods, learning effect and teaching quality evaluation information, analysis the current situation of College Students Ideological and political education system. At the same time, with the average level of the undergraduate students of Nanjing Forestry University as a reference, the ideological and political theory course learning level and the Nanjing Forestry University, the overall level of learning gap, accordingly to the analysis of some problems existing in the ideological and political education of college students, looking to improve the effective ways and Countermeasures of the ideological and political education,draws the following conclusions:First of all, the school should strengthen the support of social practice; for different grades of students to take differentiated teaching methods; strengthening the construction of Ideological and political education network positions. Secondly,teachers should enhance communication with and care among students; to create a relaxed atmosphere of teaching interaction; take a variety of evaluation methods.Finally, the students themselves to correct ideological and political theory course learning attitude; actively participate in social practice.
