Curriculum enactment is the process that teachers and students collaborate to create a new educational experience in primary teaching situation,teachers' leading role and students' subjective role can be guaranteed in this process.The curriculum content can be enacted and transformed constantly and the meaning of the curriculum can be rebuilt and elevated persistently.This study aimed to discuss the curriculum enactment ability of the primary English immersion teachers so to put forward some suggestions for improving teachers' curriculum enactment ability.English immersion is the teaching mode which has more than 20 years history.The participants were 74 teachers of English immersion in Xi'an.The questionnaire,classroom observation,interview and teachers' lesson plan were employed to discover the current situation of English immersion teachers' curriculum enactment ability and investigate the factors which influence their curriculum enactment ability.The result shows that the primary school teachers of English immersion had a proper curriculum enactment ability.They had a clear curriculum objectives,they were good at finding fresh curriculum content and they implemented curriculum neatly.But some teachers did not have clear consciousness of curriculum enactment Teachers' professional knowledge of curriculum enactment,support from their peer teachers and the school administrator were the three influential factors on their curriculum enactment ability.
