Our country is in the rapid development stage of engineering education professionalcertification,as China has become the formal member of the “Washington agreement”and engineering education professional certification with international effective equivalence is mushrooming in our country,it is an urgent problem for engineering education and engineering education professional certification to adopt scientific and effective methods to evaluate the results of professional education,improve the evaluation system of professional education,and promote the implementation of continuous improvement measures.Guided by the idea of achievement oriented education,through the methods of literature study,case analysis and comparative study,on the basis of the analysis of the present situation of the China's professional education achievements evaluation and the advanced experience of the overseas professional education achievements evaluation,this paper makes an improvement on the evaluation methods of engineering education major achievements in China by using ASTD competency model.The continuous improvement method is designed.Firstly,through the analysis of the domestic and international relevant research results,it is found that China's professional education evaluation is lack of research.The current situation of China's professional education achievement evaluation is studied,the development process of China's professional education evaluation is reviewed,and the achievements and existing problems are summarized.Secondly,the general process of the evaluation of professional education achievements is analyzed,the relevant principles are put forward,and several common methods for the evaluation of professional education achievement,such as curriculum achievement analysis method,rubrics method,questionnaire survey method,portfolio assessment method and so on,are introduced.With the combination of some typical engineering education accreditation cases abroad,these methods are analyzed and studied in order to provide some reference for the evaluation of professional education in China.Thirdly,based on the analysis of the foreign country's professional education achievement evaluation methods and acquired reference,the assessment methods of the achievement of professional education are designed and the application scope of each method is presented.The evaluation results are presented by means of diversification.Then,a professional education evaluation system with three levels is established to ensure the smooth operation of the evaluationmechanism.The related implementation details are described.Finally,a method of continuous improvement is designed,a variety of models to implement continuous improvement and related implementation points are also introduced.And the three key points of continuous improvement,including continuous improvement of training objectives,continuous improvement of graduation requirements and continuous improvement of teaching objectives,are pointed out.
