College Students' Political Trust And The Guiding Countermeasures

Political trust can be seen as the public's recognition and support of the political system,and is manifested in the relationship of trust between the public and the government.In modern political civilization,political trust plays a vital role,which not only affects the quality and level of public life,but also is related to the stability of the country and the regime.As the backbone of times development,college students' political trust is a rather important part in the field of trust.In the process of interacting with the political system,through the understanding of political movers and other specific factors,they form their own subjective value evaluation and psychological orientation towards political system.With the development of the times,college students' ideological ideas are more diversified,and ideological and political work in colleges and universities are facing new opportunities and challenges.Timely grasping college students' ideological dynamics has a positive role in promoting their ideological and political education in the new situation.This paper acquires data of empirical research from “Questionnaires of Contemporary College Students' Political Trust”,takes students of Dalian University of Technology as the sample to make selective analysis,uses SPSS statistical software to analyze the data of questionnaires,tests the reliability and validity of these questionnaires,and through the methods of univariate description statistical analysis and mean value analysis divides political trust into five dimensions,which are college students' attitudes for the political system,political movers,political organizations,political participation and political value.Under different dimensions,political trust of college students shows as a whole a positive and affirmative attitude,but there also have several students who are affected by the current political and economic situation and express concern about future development.Due to the complexity of the implementation of government policies,a small number of students do not understand the policy deep enough and do not accept political movers enough.Although most students have a strong sense of political participation,some students still have an obscure participation sense.At the same time,due to college students' different cognition experiences,the students contain different views on political trust,which then affects their acceptance of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.In terms of the issue of college students' political trust,universities and colleges should put forward countermeasures.They should pay attention to guiding college students in ideological aspects,help students establish correct understanding,encourage students go out of the campus to enhance practical ability,strengthen their relationships and cooperation with government agencies to build innovative platforms and mechanisms.Combining with the characteristics of contemporary college students,they should strive to create a good campus culture and political atmosphere,strengthen the democratic management of college students,smooth students' political participation mechanism,so that campus political culture can become a positive force of healthy development of the whole political culture.Universities and colleges ought to focus on long-term and effective ideological and political education,teaching content should keep pace with the times,teaching forms should be flexible,and teachers should increase their charm and pay attention to targeted ideological and political education for students with different background.The link between college education and family education should also be strengthened.Universities and colleges need to expand the path of college students' political trust cultivation,rely on group theory and student community to actively guide students to understand and practice the socialist core values,pay attention to the subtle influence of peer guidance in college students' political trust,so as to enhance students' political awareness and help them orderly participate in social and political life with a sense of ownership.
