The mathematically excellent student is who have dense interest,efficient learning methods,strong ability of thinking alone,strong will power and remarkable achievement.The representation in mentality of The mathematically excellent student is the index of excellent students in the process of mathematics study cognitive,thinking,emotions,attitude showing the temperament characteristic of mathematics.On the basis of excellent students and mental representation,the writer attempts to from three aspects of mental representation of mathematics: cognitive,meta-cognitive and meta-emotional to study,so put forward the pattern of mathematically to junior excellent’mental representation.First,on the basis of what has achieved on the subject and the interview with middle school math teacher,she put forward the hypothesis of the pattern of mathematically to junior excellent’mental representation.To get the opinions of the experts in education and middle school math teachers who have much experience in cultivating mathematically excellent students,she corrected the pattern.Last through the investigation and case study to verify the identified model.On the above research,she got conclusions of the excellent students as followings:1.In cognitive aspects: they are good at observing mathematics object and memorizing mathematics knowledge.;they are good at understanding memory and creativity;Like to think independently;Systematic knowledge and access to multiple;Language expression ability.2.In meta-cognition: they are good at supervising and controlling the proc ess of solving problem,having theconsciousness and habit of planning,supervis ing,reflecting,adjusting in the process of learning.3.In meta-emotional: they are like asking question,they have strong interes t and indomitable willpower in mathematics knowledge.Pay attention to the i ntrinsic value of the study.
