Rope skipping is our traditional fitness and entertainment.At present,the fancy rope skipping is widely emerging in the national primary and secondary schools with its unique features of fitness and entertainment.With the continuous promotion of the fancy rope skipping,there are some problems in the middle school teaching process such as lacking of diversity in teaching forms,teaching means targeted is not strong,teaching content is seriously limited by the physical teachers themselves,which has seriously affected the normal development of the fancy rope skipping in primary and secondary schools.In order to better meet the needs of middle school students for fancy rope skipping learning,to complete the teaching objectives,and to mobilize students' initiative and enthusiasm to playing sports,this study constructs the competitive module of fancy rope skipping,which has the significance of guidance and reference to the physical teaching of middle schools.And apply it to sports competition practice to provide new teaching ideas and teaching organization methods for the majority of first-line physical teachers.By using the Delphi method,experimental method and other research methods,this study took the design and application of the competitive module teaching of fancy rope skipping as research object.The competitive module teaching of fancy rope skipping was designed aiming at the teaching content,the timing of the game,the organization form of the competition and the means of evaluation and experimented in the fancy rope skipping class of grade 2 in 18 th Middle School in Shulan city.Finally,we carried out comparative analysis between the traditional teaching and competitive module teaching basing on the completion effects of the promotion of physical quality and technical skills,the sports participation,mental health and social adaptability.The results have shown that through matching designs of the competition using opportunity,the competition organization form and the competition evaluation means,the designed competitive module of fancy rope skipping can be integrated aiming at teaching content,which is verified that competitive module teaching can be better to complete the learning objective of fancy rope skipping.In the aspect of skill promotion,the competitive module teaching can obtain the same skills teaching effects as the traditional teaching mode in a relatively short time,which shows that the competitive module teaching has the superiority in improving the efficiency of the technique of fancy rope skipping.In the aspect of improving the physical quality,there is no significantdifference between the competitive module teaching and traditional teaching.In the aspect of sports participation,the use of competitive module teaching in the process of fancy rope skipping teaching is conducive to improving the learners' sports interest and participation enthusiasm.In the aspect of mental health and social adaptability,the psychological differences between the winning and losing factors in the competition are conducive to cultivating students' will and self-confidence,helping students establish the correct sports attitude and promoting the psychological comprehensive and healthy development of learners.Through the collaboration among the teams in the competitions,the students' interpersonal skills are improved.Based on the conclusions above,we suggest that for all levels of education authorities should pay attention to the organization of regional skipping competitions or school level leagues.Besides,they should set up indicators to monitor the fancy rope skipping to be carried out,punishing those schools can not complete in the aspect of honorary title rating.For schools should pay attention to the organization of physical education after-school activities to form a cyclical rope skipping competition.In addition,they should pay attention to the introduction of professional skipping talents,and regularly organize teachers to go out for training.For teaching implementer,should pre-prepared for the special teaching strategies for the backward students.In class should pay special attention to psychological enlighten for those who lost in the competitions and the excitation of students' physical participation.Using traditional teaching in skills learning stage and using the competitive module in exercising stage,which is more conducive to promoting students to quickly grasp the motor skills and enhance learning interest.
