With the opportunity of Meizhou to create a football city brand,summed up the theoretical system of football city brand.Analysis the internal and external environment,status and implementation way for Meizhou's football brand,draw the corresponding conclusions.With a view to provide a certain degree of theoretical guidance and new ideas for Meizhou's football city brand.Based on the objective and detailed data collected by investigation in Meizhou,making the establishment of Meizhou's football brand as the research object,the paper made an analysis and research using the literature material,interview,SWOT analysis,field investigation,questionnaire survey:The first part,make a statement of the city brand,the theory of sport city and the theory basis of the establishment of Meizhou's football city brand.The second part,according to the four system theory framework of idea,management,transmission,impression,combined with the analysis of present situation of Meizhou football using data from questionnaire and interview,the paper analyzed the development environment of Meizhou football brand by SWOT analysis.The third part,define the strategy of Meizhou football brand establishment with internal and external factor through city positioning system.The paper provide the specific way of Meizhou football brand establishment and industrial cluster of Meizhou football using Meizhou's important characteristic resources such as“football culture”,“ecology” and so on combined with external factor as “culture”,“education”,“tourism” and “regimen”,etc.The final conclusions are as follows:(1)Meizhou's brand of soccer city is an attempt of city transformation under China's new normal economy system.Macro policy advancement and profound football culture,providing a good foundation.At the same time,the talent structure,lack of the management mechanism,operation mechanism has become the main restricting factors.(2)Soccer city brand may improve the urban sustainable development influence,promote economic development for Meizhou's soccer culture.However,it has to face competition for resources and the challenges of the unstable capital market.(3)Making soccer city brand is a system engineering which combined the city hard power(facilities,human resources,capital investment,etc.)with soft power(cultural,concept,planning design organization construction,etc)into the every aspect of development,which may promote the brand influence.(4)Positioning Meizhou as a soccer city is a wise strategy.By reasonable football internal and external resources integration,scientific industrial layout and effective brand strategy,meizhou football city brand is worth waiting for.
