Research On Ideological Security Education Of Science And Engineering College Students

Ideological security is an integral part of the national security system and an important content and core of national political and cultural security,which is related to the future fate of the party and the state.In China,the number of students in science and engineering is huge.They have own characteristics.Science and engineering college students are the important object of ideological security education,who shoulder the responsibility to safeguard national ideological security.They are a powerful force to maintain the ideological strength of our country.With the development of globalization,the extension of network and the negative impact of social transformation,the ideological and political situation of science and engineering students has changed.Then the field of ideology is facing severe realistic challenges and ideological security education is urgent.Therefore,this research has important theoretical and practical significance.On the basis of studying and drawing on the previous research results,this paper expounds the concept of ideology,ideological security and ideological security education.And this paper summarizes the characteristics of science and engineering college students and the characteristics of ideological security education of science and engineering college students.Then it discusses the importance of continuing to strengthen the ideological security education of science and engineering college students.This paper investigates the present situation and educational status quo of ideological security education of science and engineering college students by means of questionnaire and personal interview.Based on the survey data,the paper analyzes the problems existing in the ideological security education of science and engineering college students,including ideological diversity,awareness of the existence of errors;a relatively simple way of education;lack of educational power;participation in the lack of initiative.On the basis of finding the problem,the main reasons for the exploration are the strong penetration of Western culture,the influence of the bad information of the network,the poor comprehensive education,and the lack of individual education.According to the characteristics of science and engineering college students,aiming at the problems existing in education,this paper puts forward the countermeasures to strengthen and improve the ideological security education of science and engineering college students.That is to create a positive ideologicalsecurity education social environment for science and engineering college students;expand the channels of ideological security education for college students majoring in science and engineering;enhance the cohesion of science and engineering college students' ideological security education force,and establish the ideas of self-education of ideological security education for science and engineering college students.
