Postgraduates of science and engineering are technical talents trained by universities of science and engineering to serve the development of the country and society.They are one of the main forces of science and technology in our country,and are also important talents that are in short supply in today's society.Their professional and technical level and comprehensive ability quality will directly affect China's economic and social development in the coming decades.It is an important part of the training work in Colleges and universities to cultivate high-tech talents with correct value orientation and firm political stand by strengthening the ideological and political education of postgraduates majoring in science and engineering.With the expansion of higher education in China,the number of science and engineering graduate students is increasing,but the quality has not been improved correspondingly.Some science and engineering graduate students have a series of Ideological and moral problems,such as lack of social responsibility,weak collective concept,different knowledge and behavior,and obvious utilitarian tendency.Then the quality of postgraduate training is reduced.Firstly,this paper mainly introduces the background and significance of the research on the ideological and political education of science and engineering graduates,and at the same time,it analyses and summarizes the current situation of the ideological and political education of science and engineering graduates.Through the analysis of questionnaires,this paper analyses the current situation of Ideological and moral education of science and engineering postgraduates and the main problems existing: diversification of value orientation,lack of sense of social responsibility,weak collective concept,relatively poor sense of scientific research integrity and other reasons.The reasons for the problems in the ideological and political education of science and engineering postgraduates are analyzed from three aspects: social factors,school factors and their own factors.Finally,from the analysis to findways and means to strengthen the ideological and political education of science and engineering postgraduates,from changing ideas to carrying out activities,from improving the system to integrating resources,from building systems to optimizing ways and so on a series of countermeasures.The innovative point of this paper is to start with the ideological and political education problems of graduate students in science and engineering colleges,and to find out the problems that graduate students are concerned about and the impact of Ideological and political education on them by combining with the survey questionnaire.Starting from empirical research,this paper further clarifies the importance of postgraduate ideological and political education,and strengthens the methods and ways of postgraduate ideological and political education.Based on the survey data and results of science and engineering postgraduates,this paper makes further analysis and research by means of survey interviews and literature research,which can provide some reference for strengthening the ideological and political education of science and engineering postgraduates.
