Research On The 'Problem Discussion' Column Of High School Biology Textbook Based On Integrated STEM Education

China's new curriculum reform around core literacy has put forward new goals for basic education.STEM(science,technology,engineering and mathematics)education is the current direction of international education reform,integrated STEM education is essentially a student-centered,problem-driven education,the main purpose is to cultivate and improve students of the comprehensive ability of literacy.The idea of integrated STEM education is to put the core concept of the STEM field in the real and attractive problem situation,emphasizing the integration of interdisciplinary in the process of solving the problem.The "problem discussion" section of high school biology compulsory textbook is suitable for setting Such a problem situation.This paper analyzes several aspects of STEM education and integrated STEM education through literature analysis,and analyzes the content structure of the "problem discussion" column.Based on the integrated STEM educational philosophy,we selected the topics that are close to the students' life and the content of the teaching from the four fields of science,technology,engineering and mathematics,and made some modifications to the flawed "problem discussion".In order to test whether the revised column is valid,the use of the original section of the textbook and the revised column to compare teaching and teacher interviews.From the reaction of the students in the case teaching,the modified column is more attractive to students than the content of the original teaching materials,and more consistent with the integration of STEM education idea.From the teacher's point of view,the teacher that revised column has a certain effect.This study aims to provide some revisions for the preparation of the "problem discussion" column for high school biology teaching materials,and provides some reference for STEM teaching of high school biology teachers.
