The Evaluation Of Tourist Comfort Based On Maslow's Hierarchy Of Needs

Recent years,with the arrival of the era of mass tourism,the development of the tourism industry accelerates rapidly.however,sorts of problems come to appear behind the prosperous development of tourism industry.The lack of reception and service in tourism attractions and the frequent occurrence of tourism safety accidents are hardly to ensure the normal tourist activities or meet the basic tourism needs of tourists either.In modern tourism activities,to understand the tourist comfort situation about overall environment of scenic spot,based on the view of tourism need that contains tourism physiological need,tourism security need and tourism psychological need,such as,how comfort tourists feel about the natural environment,humanities environment,security of tourism environment,social environment of tourism destination,which possesses great theoretic and practical significance of comprehensive evaluation of the tourist comfort.Therefor,this paper,from the perspective of tourist need,constructs the tourist comfort evaluation index system which is on the basis of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs to analyze tourists comfort degree in tourism.Firstly,this paper defines the tourism comfort after summarizing the comfort related research at home and abroad.secondly,on the basis of Maslow ' s Hierarchy of Needs,this paper constructs the tourist comfort evaluation index system by combing the related research of tourist satisfaction,tourism climate comfort and tourism security.Thirdly,by taking advantage of the tourism comfort evaluation index system,this paper takes the case study of the main scenic spots of Wuyi Mountain Scenic(hereinafter referred to as Wuyi Mountain Scenic Spots)in Fujian Province,and with the help of Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation method to comprehensively evaluate the tourism comfort of golden week of National Day in 2016.Finally,the present situation and existing problems of Wuyi Mountain Scenic spots are analyzed,while aiming at the problems,this paper puts forward some related suggestions to improve tourist comfort by promoting the perfection of service and reception facilities in Wuyi Mountain Scenic Spots.
