Research On The Development Of Outdoor Scenic Spots In Sichuan Province And The Related Problems

The high-speed and fast-paced development of modern societypromotes the lifestyles of people to undergo tremendous changes, people graduallyturn their attention to spiritual pursuit from the purely materialistic, outdoor sportsbecome more and more popular for its features of pursuit of aesthetic experience,stimulating experience,seeking knowledge, communication, pleasure and leisure.Sichuan National Fitness Program （2011-2015）is to speed up the construction offitness&recreation sports industries and build a demonstration zone, to promote thedevelopment of national fitness cause.In the research process of this paper, we consulted a large amount of informationand literature, carried out on-the-spot investigations in the scenic spots of Sichuanprovince where outdoor sport is the theme, and participated in the Four-girl mountainoutdoor sports project, making an empirical analysis of the development of Four-girlmountain outdoor sports by our personal experiences. In the interview, we carried on aconversation with outdoor enthusiasts, scenic spot managers and mountain guides,finally deciding to study the development of outdoor projects in the main scent spotsof Sichuan province and make a SWOT analysis of the scent spots of Sichuanprovince where the outdoor sport is the theme, The main advantages are: an excellentleisure culture, abundant natural resources and a huge potential consumer market. Thedisadvantages are: imperfect regulatory system, low degree of specialization, lack ofprofessionals, incomplete rescue system. The opportunities are: a new cycle of2011-2015"Outline of the National Fitness Program" is enacted, taking advantageof the Sochi Winter Olympics and the concern for snow and ice sports, SichuanProvince proposed a new1355tourism development pattern,". The challenges are:the features of east cold and west hot, high repetition rate and fierce competition ofoutdoor activities in scent spots, and security issues. Therefore, based on seizing theopportunities, give more play to the advantages to make up for disadvantages,transform disadvantages into advantages, and be fully prepared to meet the challenges.In addition, according to the case studies for Four-girl mountain scent spot, itencountered8major problems of lack of perfect rules and regulations; weakinfrastructure; serious safety issues; incomplete rescue system and others in thedevelopment process. In the end, this paper put forward8measures for thedevelopment of outdoor sports theme scent spots in Sichuan province.1. Strengthen the organization development and the laws and regulations in thescent spots. 2. Perfect the scent spots’ infrastructure construction, improve their reputation.3. Regulate the organization and management, establish a good rescue system,and increase safety.4. Based on the existing scenic resources, moderately develop tourism.5. Pay more attention to environmental protection.6. Mass consumption-oriented, perfect price system.7. Pay attention to cultivating professionals; improve the professional skills ofstaff.8Carry out local featured project according to “1355" tourism developmentplan.Putting forward the above measures is designed to change the status of themescenic spots for outdoor sports in Sichuan to promote the sustainable development ofoutdoor sports theme scenic spots, thus promoting the Sport for All People in SichuanProvince to achieve public participation, to make an effort for the construction of thepowerful sports province of western region of China.
