Chemical calculation can not only promote students' understanding of the basic knowledge and basic concepts of chemistry in depth,but also improve students' ability to analyze and solve practical problems.Chemical calculation has an important teaching position,and it is an important carrier for the development of students' thinking in chemistry.On the basis of previous literature research,this topic will apply the mind map to junior high school chemistry calculation teaching to carry out teaching practice research.The core work of this study consists of two parts,one is the development of teaching plan based on mind map,and the other is the teaching practice research of chemical calculation based on mind map.The specific research process is as follows: firstly,the teaching design of chemical calculation based on mind map(3 new courses and 2 review courses)was carried out.Secondly,the students' understanding of mind map and their interest,attitude and learning style were investigated by self-designed questionnaire.Thirdly,the experimental variables are controlled to carry out the research and subsidiary questionnaires and interviews were used during experimental research.The experimental class and the control class were determined by the student's monthly examination results.Finally,the experimental class and the control class were tested with the self-designed chemistry test paper,and the test scores of the two classes were statistically analyzed by SPSS 13.0.The results showed that:(1)the chemical calculation teaching based on mind map can improve the result of chemical calculation.(2)the chemistry calculation teaching based on mind map can improve students' chemistry learning results and reduce learning difficulties.(3)the chemistry calculation teaching based on mind map has certain influence on students' learning interest,learning attitude,learning methods and so on.(4)the teaching of chemical calculation based on mind map can improve students' ability of drawing mind map.Due to the limit of time and energy,the research work is relatively superficial.Interms of research methods,due to the limited number of interviews,the conclusions of the interviews have limitations;In the process of research,there is no clear mind map evaluation system.The judgement of students' work is based on the integrity and aesthetics,and the enthusiasm of students has not been mobilized;In terms of the research content,only the practical research of the application of mind map in the chemical calculation teaching had been conducted,and there was no study of mind map in other types of knowledge.In the future,the application of mind map in other teaching content or specific types of studies will be explored,and mind map will promote students' learning ability in chemistry to very good account.
