Teachers spend much more time than parents in accompanying students in school,which is a main place for students apart from living and rests.During the junior high school,the teenagers are in their third antagonistic period in the life.As the direct guardian in school,teachers play a leading role in effecting students' attitudes and behaviors and thus effect their devotion in study.In recent years,teachers' scolding and contempt towards students have become the focus of social attention.According to some researches,teachers' caring behavior has a great predictive effect on students' devotion in study.The more caring the students perceives from teachers,the more enthusiastic they will engage in study.However,most researches on the teachers' caring behavior and the students' enthusiasm focus on the theoretical aspect instead of practical aspects.The author adds two variables,namely self-determination and academic emotion,into the research after referring to a large amount of related papers.By building a model of four variables,the author tries to find the effect and functioning mechanism from teachers' caring behavior and students' learning engagement to provide strong support in improving the academic atmosphere and guiding the students to form the correct values.The author uses four questionnaires,namely Questionnaires on Teachers' Caring Behavior,Questionnaires on Academic Emotion,Questionnaire on Academic Self-adjusting and Questionnaire on Learning Engagement.The author hands out 1,030 questionnaires randomly in two junior high schools in Qiqihaer and gets 822 effective questionnaires after filtrating.By analyzing with the software SPSS 22.0 and MPLUS 7.4,the following results are concluded:(1)The teachers' caring behavior shows great difference in students' grade and whether he or she is a class leader;(2)The junior high school students' self-determination shows great differences in whether he or she is a class leader;(3)The junior high school students' academic emotion shows great differences in their grade and whether he or she is the only child in family;(4)The junior high school students' learning engagement shows great differences in their grade and whether he or she is a class leader;(5)Teachers' caring behavior has a positive correlation with self-determination,academic atmosphere and learning engagement;there are differences among the above four factors.It shows that the more the teachers' caring behavior is,the higher the self-determination,academic emotion and the learning devotion is;(6)The adjustable intermediary model functions well among teachers' caring behavior,academic atmosphere,and learning engagement shows that teachers' caring behavior not only effects the students' learning engagement directly,but also has indirect effects on students' learning engagement through the intermediate variants,self-determination.What's more,as a adjustable variant,the academic atmosphere moderates the direct effect of teachers' caring behavior on learning engagement and also moderates the mediating effect.According to a further examination,the academic atmosphere moderates the last half of the mediating path.
