| In our country,English is not only one of the subjects that students must learn,but also a tool for people’s daily communication.As a result,people also play more importance to the improvement of oral English ability.But in the daily English teaching,it is easy to find teacher and students have spent a great deal of time on vocabulary,grammar but ignored the oral English.While the traditional oral English teaching methods’ form is single and lack of interests,it is largely dampen the enthusiasm of students to learn oral English.Teachers and students are itching for an efficient and scientific method of oral English teaching.Aiming at the senior high school oral English teaching situation in this present stage,the author attempts to apply the Cooperative Learning Method into high school pupil’s oral English class.It aims to improve teachers’ oral English teaching effect and cultivate the students’ ability of using language.This study selects two experimental classes students of senior high school in Harbin as the research object,and view the oral English teaching as a focal point,and cooperative learning as its theoretical basis,to explore the application of cooperative learning method in senior high school oral teaching steps in the experimental class.In a three-month study,through the questionnaire survey,and oral test,and interview methods to investigate the two experimental classes70 students,the author accesses to obtain the relevant data and adopts the SPSS22.0 to demonstrate the achievement gap between experiment class which used the Cooperative Learning Method and the experimental class which used the traditional learning method.It can be seen that the Cooperative Learning Method played a positive role for experimental classes of students’ oral English learning.Finally,the author summarizes the deficiencies and problems of this study,the future research is forecasted,and look forward to the Cooperative Learning is better suited to our English class.The innovation of this thesis is to apply the cooperative learning method to the students’ oral English teaching in high school experiment class.In view of the problems encountered by students in oral English teaching,we proposed a concrete solution by cooperative learning method.Indeed,due to the short time of study and the level islimited,the cooperative learning is a large research scope.This study will inevitably have shortcoming still to be improved.In the future teaching practice,educators should be made specific analysis,and made the Cooperative Learning Method is combined with English teaching better. |
