A Study Of The College Students' Moral Judgment On Different Groups From The Perspective Of Identity

In today's society there is a widespread phenomenon that people will have different attitudes towards them because of their different identities.This study is to investigate whether the differences in the degree of recognition of the group is the cause of different moral evaluation of the group.On the basis of group identity,I study the influence of the degree of recognition of the external group on the moral judgment in violation of the moral situation and moral situation.The contents of the moral judgment is the moral foundation of the moral pluralism Hite,Hite's main content is divided into six dimensions of Care / injury,fairness / deception,loyalty / betrayal,authority /subversion,purity / corruption,freedom / oppression.The object of moral judgment is based on the hierarchy of the group,according to Webb's social stratification standard,from three aspects of economy,power and prestige,to select the representative group in each social stratum.And the combination of domestic scholars on a related research results on China social stratification,choose the chief executives of state-owned enterprises and organs in the upper group,choose the university teachers and doctors in the middle group,while in the lower group chose the construction workers and restaurant attendant,the six groups representing their respective subordinate class judge,become the object of this study.The study of previous research through literature review,and on this basis,using the method of questionnaire investigation method for this study.The research subjects are 400 college students of three universities in Beijing,the main research contents are: the first is to investigate the internal structure and dimensions of social identity,social identity establishment scale;then the amount of the moral basis of Hite's table,measuring the moral judgment of different groups,the last comprehensive analysis.Research results:1?In violation of moral situations,criticized the lowest level is lower and the study group,the assumptions;while the upper and middle group groups have higher criticism,but there is no significant difference between the two,and the deviation of the research hypothesis to some extent;2?In the maintenance of moral situation,the highest level of praise is the lower group,followed by the upper class,the lowest level of praise is the middle class,which is consistent with the hypothesis of this study;3?The study found in violation of moral situations,make moral judgment on the upper and lower groups groups pay more attention to the moral dimension of betrayal,moral judgment on the middle group and pay more attention to the dimension of moral damage;in the maintenance of moral situation of moral evaluation on different social groups are more attention to moral concern,loyalty and freedom the dimension,which is consistent with the hypothesis of the three part.
