Research On The Fault Factors Of Campus Video Information Integrated Management System

In recent years,the security of universities in China has attracted wide attention with the increase of new student enrollment and expansion of campus size.In this paper,the fault factors which take negative impacts on smooth operation of the campus video information integerated manamagement system are analyzed,and then corresponding measurements are given in order to ensure that the work of teachers and study students are on the rails.Guaranteeing smooth operation of the campus video information integrated management system is an indispensable part of the "technique guard",and plays an important role on the campus' safeguard work.Smooth running of the system is invisible protection of the daily life for teachers and students in colleges.With implementation of the "Safe Campus" guiding ideology,different kinds of campus video information integrated management systems have been established and widely applied in many Chinese colleges and universities.Because the system with extensive contents is huge and complex,a lot of risk factors caused by faults must exsist.Applying scientific methods to analyze system fault and formulating effective troubleshooting plan such that the system can be normally running is an important task for whom uses the system.In this paper,current situation of university's security system is introduced including the application and maintenance,the functions of each component in the campus video information integrated management system are elaborated.Accroding to the system faults encountered practically in the field for the last three years,different factors that are caused by hardware,software,environment and human and affected the system's operation are summarized.The actual faults are described and analyzed by real cases.The method called Accident Tree Analysis is applied to modelling,analyzing and addressing faults,and the contrast analying results are used to provide corresponding safety countermeasures of the system fault.At the last,the study on fault factors of the campus video information integrated management system in this paper are summarized,the future work is concluded.
