Learning a second language has finally become an increasing trend within Russia.This issue especially requires the attention of parents of children who are in the fifth grade.This is because in 2022,middle school graduates will need to face a new compulsory exam in the form of a foreign language exam in order to pass their senior exam.From 2018 onwards,the Chinese general exam can be used as a means through which Russian students can use to enter universities.As a result,people's interest in Chinese has been renewed and rising in Russia.First learners of the language start younger and younger,and the market for children's education in Chinese has multiplied.The market is publishing more teaching material targeted to them because of this.During the learning process of Chinese,choosing suitable teaching materials is a substantial issue.In order to choose materials more suited for the current situation in Russia,both for the teachers and the students.This essay has chosen 4 teaching materials aimed at primary school students;using 2 previously published books,which are???????and???????and 2 new ones,which are???????and???:?????,for further analysis and comparison.The focus is mainly on the flaws within the older books,and the good factors worth emulating in the new.The flaws of the older books are as follows:The teaching materials are not well-targeted,teaching materials do not conform to Russian education standards,the availability of teaching materials is lacking,the publication market has insufficient attention to primary school Chinese textbooks and the sales are not balanced,the accuracy of Russian expression needs to be improved.The advantages of newly-published textbooks are:the textbooks are more targeted;the new textbooks focus on cultivating students' autonomous learning;the design of textbooks and exercises are more scientific;and the curriculum of new textbooks will have some repetitions,the new textbooks provide teachers with sufficient teaching materials.Furthermore,the study aims to provide certain suggestions based on the weaknesses and flaws of these materials as well as other related academic sources.
