The research paradigm of education policy trends is the combination of the theoretical foundation behind the trend of education policy research and the research elements of the education policy trend research.This study consists of the following components:The first chapter: Introduction.The introduction part includes the origin of the study,the purpose of the study,the literature review,the research content,the research method,the research significance,and the research ideas.The second chapter: The theoretical construction and demonstration of the study paradigm of educational policy trend.First,this chapter defines the core concepts and basic categories of education policy trend research paradigm by defining education policy,education policy trends,education policy trend research,paradigm,and education policy research paradigm.Secondly,a theoretical system for the study paradigm of educational policy trends was constructed.First,the theoretical basis behind the paradigm of educational policy research and the constitution of research elements have been identified.The theoretical foundation of methodology paradigm for education policy,namely the methodological basis,consists of direct methodologies and indirect methodologies.Direct methodology is the methodology for studying a specific policy research paradigm.Indirect methodologies consist of Western traditional methodology,Western paradigm methodology,and Chinese traditional methodology.The research elements of the research on education policy trends mainly reflect a stable way of doing research.This kind of stable way runs through the interaction between elements.These four research elements are the main body,content,process,and method of research.The second is to clarify the basic categories of the research paradigm of education policy trends,namely,the research paradigm of educational policy content trends,the research paradigm of educational policy process trends,the research paradigm of education policy environmental trends,and the research paradigm of educational policy values.The third is the use of theory and facts to conduct a theoretical argumentation and factual argumentation on the research paradigm of educational policy construction.The third chapter: Practice reflection on the trend of education policy.This chapter applies the constructed educational policy trend research paradigm to the present situation of the study of educational policy trends and analyzes the problems existing in the study of education policy trends,as well as the causes and countermeasures.The main problems in the study of educational policy trends are that the theoretical foundation of research is weak,the degree of specialization of the research subjects needs to be improved,the content of research is not comprehensive,the convergence between the various categories is not enough,the research process is imperfect,and the research methods are not scientific.This article advocates the use of educational policy trend research paradigm theory to guide the research of education policy trends,and puts forward the improvement of education policy trend research under the guidance of education policy trend research paradigm.The improvement strategy starts with two aspects: the theoretical basis and the research elements.First,it strengthens the research on the theoretical basis.Second,improve the independence and specialization of the research subjects.Third,expand the research content and strengthen the convergence between the various categories.Fourth,improve the research process.Fifth,diversify research methods and strengthen the combination of qualitative methods and quantitative methods.
