With the rapid development of science and technology,there is a higher demand for the comprehensive quality of talents in the 21 st century.And the diversity of know ledge has also become increasingly important.To deal with this problem,the teaching of inter-disciplinary knowledge has become a trend,which sets higher standards for teachers and their teaching.In their teaching practice,teachers are required to have a good mastery of the subjects they are teaching and to guide students to use knowledge freely as well.Therefore,teaching based on inter-disciplinary knowledge is helpful in improving students' comprehensive ability.Based on Cultural Life,the political textbook of high schools,the research focuses on the application of inter-disciplinary method in the teaching of Cultural Life.The paper consists of four parts.In the first part,the author puts forward the reasons for choosing the research question,and then proposes the research ideas and research methods.In the second part,the author expounds the theoretical basis for the application of interdisciplinary method in teaching Cultural Life and then analyzes its significance.After a detailed analysis,the author comes to a conclusion that the application of inter-disciplinary teaching method is helpful in stimulating students' interests,cultivating students' ability in discovering problems,and improving teaching efficiency and teachers' comprehensive ability as well.In the third part,by means of questionnaires and interviews,the author conducts a survey in 10 high schools in Hanzhong on the present situation of interdisciplinary teaching of Cultural Life.Based on the survey,the author sums up problems and causes for the problems in the inter-disciplinary teaching practice.In the fourth part,based on the problems reflected in the survey,the author proposes some effective strategies for inter-disciplinary teaching of Cultural Life.Besides,the author gives some examples to illustrate how to apply interdisciplinary teaching method in the classroom teaching of Cultural Life.
