Research On The Promotion Of Moral Education Functions In College Association

College association is an important subject of moral education and an effective carrier of ideological and political education in colleges,which is also an important way to implement quality education.It provides a broad platform for the development of campus culture and brings profound inspiration to the construction of the second class in colleges.College association has broken the original boundaries between grade and department,which covers social practice,sports and entertainment,academic research,theoretical study and other abundant types of distinctive student organizations,fully aroused the enthusiasm of many associations and their members,enriched the campus culture life and improved the college students' ability to study,practice,organize as well as innovate.However,college association is facing new situation and problems with the reform and development of higher education.If still managed with a traditional management models,the positive effects of moral education functions of college association could not be brought into full play in practice.Therefore,based on the status of college associations,exploring and establishing an improved management model that adapt to the requirements for improving the moral education of college association by the new period,and realizing the transformation from “management” to “governance”,“rule of man” to “rule of law”,“traditionalism” to “modernism” has become an important task of moral education in colleges.Based on the horizon of moral education in colleges,this paper systematically expounds the connotation,types and development history of college association,clarifies the connotation of moral education,the development characteristics,model as well as trend of moral education function.Then gives an in-depth and detailed elaboration on the function of spiritual education,knowledge education,behavioral education,practice education,psychological self – education that covered in moral education.Meanwhile,according to the empirical research carried out on the college associations in five comprehensive colleges and universities in Hunan Province,basing on analyzing the present situation of the moral education functions of college associations,this paper finds that college associations facing such constraints as lagged ideas,weak resultant force,the limited property and the lack of motivation,and summarizes five promotion principles of the moral function of college associations,which are orientation,subjectivity,innovation,coordination,openness.Under the guidance of this five principles,starting from the aspects of moral education idea,management model and development of college associations,this paper puts forward several promotion strategies that give full play to the moral education function of college associations.Oriented by ideological values,behavior patterns,quality improvement,innovation practices,this paper puts forward the idea of reinforcing ideological and financial guarantees,proposes the basic way to strengthen the construction of the governance system and the abilities of associations.When highlighting the role of the main body of moral education,this paper also pays attention to the continuous innovation of moral education function of college associations so as to further optimize the construction of moral education functions of college associations under the horizon of moral education in colleges.
