An Analysis And Research On Offensive Ability Of Chinese Men' S Basketball

Men 's basketball competition is officially approved to join the Olympic Games in the Berlin Olympic Games in 1936.Among all the Olympic Games,the best results the Chinese men 's national basketball team got was placed as the eighth.They participated in 1996,2004 and 2008 for the Olympic games.The Chinese men 's national basketball team failed in the London Olympic Games in 2012.The team did not make it in the phase of group match.Asian men' s basketball championships(hereinafter referred to as the Asian Championships)was founded in1960,as qualifying game in Asia which is a part of the Olympic Games and World Championships,is the highest level of men' s basketball competition in Asia,representing the highest level of men's basketball in Asian.After the experience of the defeat in 2012,The Chinese men' s national basketball team had a internal adjustment,and finally in the 28 th Asian Championship,they achieved the victory and got the access to the Rio Olympic Games.By using the methods of literature analysis,mathematical statistics,video observation,comparative analysis and logical analysis,this paper chose 9 games in the twenty-eighth session of the Asian Championship and 5 games in the Olympic Games in London,which are played by The Chinese men' s national basketball team,as the research object.This research mainly studies offensive ability indicators between The Chinese men' s national basketball team and strong teams.The author compares The Chinese men' s national basketball team and their opponents,as well as the top four teams thus finding out the advantages and shortcomings of the men' s basketball team in China.The main conclusions of the study are: Chinese athletes have advantages in the height than the top four teams,but have disadvantages in weight than powerful teams in the world.The Chinese men' s national basketball team players in the London Olympic Games have a lot of experience,but the record is not the same as the world's top teams;In the 28 th Asian Championship,young players accounted for the majority.And they are lack of experience.Coach Deng Huade's coaching experience is less than coaches of world's top teams;Gong Luming's experience in teaching the national team is richer than the coaches of Asian teams;The Chinese men' s national basketball team is weaker than the opponent in two-pointers,three-pointers,the score for the first phase and the total score in the London Olympic Games;The ability of penalty shot is strong but free-throw percentage is not high;in the Asian Championship,the ability of Chinese men' s national basketball team to get the score for total score,two-pointers,free-throws,the first three phase is stronger than the opponent.However their scoring ability for three-pointers does not have the advantages.The Chinese men' s national basketball team is not active to fight for rebounds.The success rate to launch a second attack is low.Their awareness of fast break is not strong.They made many mistakes in offensive field.Their ability of positional attack in the London Olympic Games is weaker than opponents,but have more advantages in the 28 th Asian Championships.The offensive ability of The Chinese men' s national basketball team including thesubstitute players and starting players is weaker than opponents,the whole team has a better offensive ability than the other team in the Asian championship.The offensive ability of Chinese guards is not as strong as the world's top teams and Asian teams;The attacking ability of the small forward is not as good as that of the world teams,but it is better than the small forwards of the Asian teams;Power forwards and centers is stronger than the Argentina team in three-pointers and scoring for rebounds,and the ability to score for free-throw is better than the United States teams and the other three Asian top teams.However the ability to score for three-pointers and the ability of assists are worse than Asian top teams.The scoring ability of Chinese men' s basketball team in the restricted area and long distance is worse than the world's top teams,but better than the world's top four teams in the distance.they are better than Philippines' team but not as good as the teams from Iran and japan.
