In today's rapid development of data information,people are confronted with a large amount of data in their work or in life.How should we deal with the chaotic data?It is particularly important to have the ability to analyze data.In daily life,we should set up awareness of data processing,develop data analysis ability and grasp some methods of analyzing data.In 2011,"compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard" put forward 10 core concepts,as one of the ten core concepts of data analysis,in the compulsory education stage is to learn "statistics and probability" as the carrier,to cultivate students' data analysis ability to become the core goal of compulsory education stage.However,does junior middle school students have data analysis ability and what kind of data analysis ability do they have? In order to identify junior middle school students' data analysis ability,this paper mainly adopts the following research methods.This paper is based on the research of data analysis ability of junior high school students.Through literature research,we know the connotation and extension of data analysis ability,clarify the structure and level of data analysis ability and the reasons for its division,prepare a test paper for testing the data analysis ability of junior high school students and compile test tools.By analyzing the specific requirements of the statistics and probability content of the curriculum standard,the test tools with high reliability and validity are compiled to investigate the data analysis ability of junior high school students.The quantitative research method,through the statistics and quantitative analysis of test papers,compares the differences in the data analysis ability of students of different years,sex and academic level.Difference.Finally,we use SPSS to analyze and process data.Through the analysis of the test results,it is found that the overall level of data analysis ability of junior high school students does not meet the requirements of thecurriculum,but in the third grade,the level of data analysis ability has reached the requirements of the curriculum.There is a difference in data analysis ability among the students in different grades,the level of data analysis ability of the first grade second grade students is quite different,the data analysis of junior grade students in grade 3 is analyzed.The ability level is obviously stronger than the other two grades;there are differences in the level of data analysis ability of students with different learning levels.The data analysis ability of the top students is stronger than the middle students and poor students.However,there is no significant difference in the data analysis ability between the middle school students and the poor students;the students in junior middle school do not have sex differences in the data analysis ability.Based on the analysis of test results,the author gives some suggestions for teacher teaching.1)pay attention to the differences among students of different learning levels.2)pay attention to the cultivation of students' data analysis ability.3)pay attention to develop students' habit of data analysis ability.
