Because of the development trend of high integration, thin volume and light quality on the modern electronic products, the flexible circuit board is widely applied to various electronic products, and its requirement is increasing day by day. The purpose of the study is to design a high-precision control system to improve the production efficiency and product compliance rate for a flexible circuit board production company in Jiujiang.In this paper, on the study and analyzes of the production process of flexible circuit board, combine with multi motor drive control technology, puts forward a variety of tension control scheme and compares the advantages and disadvantages. Finally, the control scheme of multi point synchronous drive control system is determined. In this scheme, the main controller of this program is PLC. The magnetic powder clutch and servo control system and its actuator and tension sensors achieve the controlled volume so that it completed closed loop control. In the production process, we separate different tension of different points from each other, use multiple modular to control and keep line speed consistent.According to the demand of control system, this paper completes the design of hardware and software of the system. The hardware design includes the I/O unit of PLC, tension system, servo control unit, temperature control system, the reel length measuring system and operating unit. And it selects instrument, design the electrical principle and wiring diagram, research the calculation and setting of parameter for all tension controllers and servo controllers and analysis the function of each unit device. On the aspect of software, this paper analysis the control method of winding and laminating, completes the design of touch screen interface and the setting of PLC communication parameters. On the tension control issues, overshoot gain control method of the tension controller and the internal model control of PID parameter tuning method are introduced. And it simulates these two methods and verified their validity.Finally, in this paper,debuging the multi-point synchronous transmission system, analys the debugging results and checks the system design work. According to theproblems in debugging, the improvement measures are put forward, so that the system can meet the production requirements. At present, this scheme has been applied to actual production line and the control effect is very good.
