In recent years,with the rapid development of urban construction in our country,high-rise building has become an important place for people to work and live.Elevator as a standard configuration of modern architecture,not only becomes an important symbol of urban modernization,but also has become an essential infrastructure in people’s daily work and life.According to concerning sectional statistic,by the end of the December of 2014,the total elevator has more than 3.5 million units,and remains a annual rate of 10%increase.At present the total amount of the lift,annual production and annual growth rate are at the forefront of the world.In the case of large-scale use of the elevator,how to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the elevator is one of the important trends in the future development of elevator technology.This paper analyzed the current development situation of elevator manufacturer monitoring technology at home and abroad,combining with the condition of our country,take advantage of the current mature GSM/GPRS wireless communication technology,developed an elevator operational status monitoring system,which consisted of data collection and transmission terminals and data center platform software.The MCU of data collection and transmission device was adopted the ST’s STM32F103RBT6 chip which is based on ARM Cortex-M3 core and the operating system was used μC/OS-II.The data transmission section was adopted the SIM900 A module,which embedded TCP/IP protocol.And data center platform software development use VB6.0 to program,which has a powerful interface editing features.The main functions and contents of the system are as follows:(1)Data collection and transmission.Data collection and transmission device of MCU is collection the data from the sensors which installed in the elevator car.MCU analyzed the collected data and deduced the current status of the elevator such as elevator running direction,flat layer status,and whether in a fault condition,etc.And the data was transformed by GPRS function of SIM900 A model to the center data server in time.When the elevator was in bad conditions,the center data server will send a text message by the GSM function of SIM900 A to inform the users,property maintenance and government supervision department.Thus,the rescue work and maintenance could carry out timely.(2)Data storage and display.Data center platform software storage and display the uploaded data.Maintenance departments can use the network remotely login data center servers,analyzes the operation and storage of relevant information,make maintenancework more targeted and failure occurrence is prevented.(3)Voice communication.When people was trapped in a failure elevator,the system can achieve a voice communication through SIM900 A model,Rescue workers can appease people nervous,anxiety through this voice communication,in order to protect the trapped people’s life safety and health body and mind.The elevator monitoring system developed by this paper is efficient and stable operation,low cost,high universality and other characteristics.It can also provide security for the people,and has a wide application prospect in the market.
