The CCD imaging system is widely used in various fields, especially in the military defense field. Many countries are building their own space-based satellite reconnaissance system actively to cope with the future high-tech war. The CCD imaging system consists of two parts, the CCD signal source and the video signal processing chips. As an important part in CCD system, the video signal processing chip's performance has played a crucial role.The main purpose of this project is to design a multi-channel video signal processing chip test system. The test system consists of data download part, hardware and image capture software. The hardware is divided into two parts, the main system FPGA board and multi-channel chip test board. The main function of this system is that the PC host download the four-channel register's configuration data and image data into the system FPGA board via the USB interface. The test chip gets the configuration data via SPI interface. In addition, the test board converts the image data into analog CCD signal, then the chip can work properly. Lastly,the outputs are uploaded by Cameralink module. By evaluating the quality of the picture, we can check the chip.By actual test, the system achieves the desired results. It can complete the multi-channel video signal processing chip test work.
