Design And Implementation Of Electronic Document Security Management System

Electronic document security management system is a security management software which serves a central storage, protection with encryption, authorization of use, precise control and full audit of all digital information. On the premise of not changing user habits, this system holds a secure and precise control of the use of documents by means of centralized management and control of various information exchanged between terminals and internal networks in any workplace to address issues like office documents distributedly stored, digital information personally saved, information carrier freely placed, and electronic documents randomly printed. It aims to maintain the network security of electronic documents, protect important user information from accidentally leaked, ensure information safety in computer systems and improve information confidential security level in a great manner. Meanwhile, it achieves the goal of keeping all personal documents unreleased in any computer, terminals, or public devices.Access control is essential for information security ensurance.Based on the actual security requirement of a certain electronic document application, this paper realizes an electronic document management system of collaborative access control for practical application through the adoption of the traditional access control model by combining Mandatory Access Control (MAC) with Discretionary Access Control (DAC).This paper mainly deals with the following issues in the application of electronic documents:(1) It proposes a solution to the permission issue of different users’ access to different object file. In this paper, the user (subject) and document (object) are given different security levels by forcing to access control mechanism and to establish a special access relationship between users and documents.(2) The application of automatic access control mechanism allows users to use the process more flexiblely and securely during the document flow process, rendering the document management usage more efficient.(3) It puts forward a cooperative access control idea of integrating mandatory access control with autonomous access control of the subject and the object, which makes the use of electronic documents more secure and reliable, and assures that all levels of users have the related system setting permissions to prevent unauthorized operation.It has been proved to be remarkablely effective in the actual test of the system.
