Design And Implementation Of Service Management System For Provincial Meteorological Archives Information Based On C/S Architecture

The rapid growth and development of regional economy brings unprecedented opportunities and challenges to meteorological departments.Thus,it is necessary to provide more thoughtful,meticulous and meteorological services for social needs.However,the existing provincial meteorological information management system has many problems of single function,non-standard data classification and lacking of relevance.So,it is in demand to establish an information management platform to solve the existing problems and improve the system performance.It ultimately contributes to the sustainable development of the regional and China’s meteorological services and overall economic growth.In conclusion,the meteorological department is in urgent need to develop an electronic management system of archives information with the current trend.With in-depth study of the current meteorological information management,data storage technology and C# development language,a new meteorological archives information service management system is designed and implemented based on C/S architecture in the paper.The goal is to improve the archives management and shorten management cycle by applying the system.This system improves the efficiency of archives management staff,and hence the comprehensive quality of them.This system efficiently improves the modern meteorological archives management business processes.On the basis of this system,other basic relevant management work could be necessarily modified,improved and supplemented,hence be more rational,scientific and systematic.The main works and research contents of this paper show as the following:1.The comprehensive demand analysis,system interface design and database design of the provincial meteorological archives information service management system are carried out.2.All entity data files in the meteorological archives are integratedly managed,including the file storage management,loan management and return management.Meanwhile,it keeps interface for warehouse monitoring function.3.It helps input station archive information,archive data reorganization,and digital archive compilation data,and can sort and filter the results depending on the search criteria.4.Clustering analysis algorithm is applied to deal with the collected meteorological data.Results are presented in the form of map,histogram,line graph and so on.At last,comprehensive test and analysis on the information service management system of provincial meteorological archives are carried out,and the results show that the functions of the system have reached the user’s requirements.The design methodology in this paper has significant referential meaning for the developing such kind of systems.
