A Study On The Communication Of Guangxi Media To Vietnamin Perspective Of Surrounding Areas

In recent years,the diplomacy of China focuses on the management and mutual cooperation and development with surrouding areas.Vietnam,as one of the most important neighboring countries in south,the bilateral relations with it is significant and complex both in historical and realistic aspects.With the continuous upgrade of strategic mechanisms such as the Belt and Road Initiatives and the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation(LMC)mechanism,how to deepen mutual beneficial cooperation and interconnection between China and Vietnam,promote bilateral political trust,economic and trade growth and communication of both people have become important issues.With Geographical connection with Vietnam,close border trade,interlinked culture and similar population,Guangxi has an inherent advantage over communication with Vietnam.Guangxi media has made many explorations in the aspect of culture spreading with Vietnam over the years.Based on the perspective of external communication to surrouding arears,this paper has studied the historical and current situations,opportunities and challenges of Guangxi media’s transmission with Vietnam,and the strategies to promote the communication ability of Guangxi media with Vietnam by means of historical analysis,literature analysis,expert interview and case analysis.The paper is mainly divided into two stages in the analysis of the historical and current situations of Guangxi media’s communication with Vietnam.The first stage is from the establishment of diplomatic relation between China and Vietnam in 1950 to the Sino-Vietnam diplomatic relation normalization in 1991.The second stage is from the Sino-Vietnam diplomatic relation normalization in 1991 to now.In the first phase of the study,it is concluded that the news reports about Vietnam of Guangxi Daily are positively related with Sino-Vietnam relations.In the second phase,it has sorted out and analyzed the communication behaviors to Vietnam of the mainstream media in Guangxi.The author hold that this paper mainly focuses on the communication opportunities and challenges with Vietnam of Guangxi media.Though data verification,interview and other methods,it finds there are four opportunities of Guangxi media communicating with Vietnam in the perspective of external communication,which is political policy dividend,economic and trade cooperation boost,enrichment of culture communication,and close contacts of people.In the part of the challenges,the author discourses them from external and internal challenges that the Guangxi media has to meet.There are five external challenges,including political barrier,world opinion,nationalism emotion of Vietnam,trade deficit and press censorship system.Based on 5h theory,it analyzes the internal challenges of Guangxi media from the media subjects,channels,contents,audiences and feedback.At the end of the paper,coexistence At present,Guangxi media to communicate with Vietnam opportunities and challenges coexist.There are four opportunities.First,Guangxi media should obey national diplomatic strategy and establish the sense of communicating with surrounding countries.Second,it should set up a comprehensive communicate platform with neighboring countries on the basis of the whole environment of Guangxi media.Third,Guangxi media should improve the communication channels with Vietnam to be more localization,commercialization and multimedia.Fourth,from the dissemination of content,it proposes that Guangxi media should focus on digging the common experience,improve the reporting methods in the communication process.Fifth,it puts forward relevant proposals by audience analysis and the establishment of information feedback mechanism.
