NGB(next generation broadcast TV network)is based on cable TV digitization and the achievements of China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting.It is supported by the core technology of high performance broad-band information network which is developed by ourselves,aiming to build the next generation broadcast TV network suitable for our current situation combining the triple-play and wire and wireless one to load all business.EPON+EoC technology can make comprehensive use of the existing coaxial cable resources,save the cost of construction and equipment,provide high access bandwidth.So,it is the mainstream of the access network of NGB.Based on the HomePlug AV standard and WiFi technology,this paper design and implement the EoC terminal with WiFi function.There are three main advantages during the design,the first one is the WiFi terminal uses an external switching chip,makes the Wi Fi-EoC terminal completely adapt to the existing network;the second one is adopts the method of modular and hierarchical design method,the third one is convenience of engineering application,provides a command line management pattern,convenient operation and maintenance.The mainly innovation during the design is proposes a distributed remote management mode based on EoC master.Firstly,this paper briefly introduces the triple play,including the current status of the triple play,comparison three kinds of solutions for the triple play,and explanation the purpose and innovation of this study;rough explanation and comparison various EoC technology,focus on the HomePlug AV standard.Next,this paper briefly describes the work mode of the ordinary type terminal,the software structure of WiFi terminal has been designed based on embedded system,which adopts hierarchical modular design method and loose coupling.For Wi Fi EoC terminal,a distributed management scheme is proposed,which implements design and the test.Finally,under the laboratory environment,a series of test have been done.By analyzing the test data,the choke-point of the system is found and the terminal proves to reach the commercial requirements which performed well in the environment testing and can work normally under-20 ℃ to 50 ℃ environment.
