Design And Implementation Of Wireless Heterogeneous Network Management Software Based On WEB

With the development of information technology and computer network,system architecture of wireless network is becoming more and more complex and the size of the network is also becoming more and more large.So a single network architecture hasn’t been satisfied with the current needs.The wireless heterogeneous network is made up of different types of wireless network,and it has the characteristics of wide applicability,easy expansion,etc.But because of its complex structure,the management of wireless heterogeneous network is affected by many interrelated factors,such as the acquisition of management information and the topology discovery of heterogeneous network nodes in heterogeneous networks,etc.These factors also increase the difficulty of management of wireless heterogeneous network.A wonderful network management software is one of the foundations to ensure efficient wireless heterogeneous network.The purpose of this thesis is to develop a management software for wireless heterogeneous network which is made up of mesh network and ZigBee network.We use SNMP to manage the wireless heterogeneous network devices.We design and develop a wireless heterogeneous network management software based on WEB technology.The main contents are as follows:Depending on the demand analysis and the architecture design of wireless heterogeneous network management software,the management software is divided into management data acquisition and storage module,WEB service module and wireless heterogeneous network management module.In data acquisition and storage module,we use SNMP to acquire management information in mesh network.For the ZigBee network,as it doesn’t support IP,we utilize the mesh access point communicating with ZigBee coordinator to get ZigBee network information.WEB service module provides HTTP services,the corresponding request interface,page display and user interaction using LAMP-based framework.Wireless heterogeneous network management module is the core of the management software.It provides the main features of the software including user management function,configuration management function,device discovery function,device information display function,network topology discovery function,node performance monitoring function and alarm function.This thesis describes the design and implementation of the wireless heterogeneous network management software.And it demonstrates the main way to complete each module,detailed flow charts,relevant data structures and algorithms.Compared with the existing network management software,this software has the following characteristics.Combine SNMP with wireless heterogeneous network management.So Mesh network and the ZigBee network management both are supported in the software.And achieve the physical topology discovery algorithm for wireless Mesh network and ZigBee network.Testing and analyzing results indicate that the software meets the requirements and performs well.It has good stability and scalability.The management software has reached the software design needs.
