The network management of digital television equipment is an important task in the field of broadcasting and television, and it provides a guarantee for the sound operation of digital television equipment. At present, most of the network management systems are based on the SNMP and C\S architecture. Although these network management systems can reliably complete the work of network management, there is a general deficiency, that is, the network management of administrators is restricted to the PCs, which limits the flexibility of usage scenarios.WeChat public platform has just come into our sight in recent years. Due to its strong scalability, WeChat public platform can be easily integrated with various business software systems, which makes it become one of the most popular mobile platforms today. This subject uses the WeChat public platform and Web development technology to extend the mobile terminal function of the traditional network management system-Elements Manage System (EMS), realizing important functions including receiving equipment alarm messages, checking and managing equipment alarm information, and checking equipment network topology through the mobile terminal. The research work of this subject has effectively changed the inflexibility of the traditional platform, greatly enhanced the usability of the traditional network management system,and changed network administrators’ way of working, which enable network administrators to conduct real-time network management through mobile WeChat platform.The structure of the network management system in this subject is mainly divided into two parts: EMS and Web server. EMS uses the SNMP to communicate with digital television equipment so as to get access to the running state and parameters of the equipment. When the equipment is detected under abnormal operation, EMS will call the WeChat public platform interface to push the WeChat alarm messages to administrators. Furthermore, in order to implement the WeChat public platform as an entrance, whereby network administrators can visit the WeChat web pages for network management, it is inevitable to build a Web server. The Web server deploys data synchronization interfaces and WeChat web pages for network management systems. When EMS gets access to the running state and parameters of the equipment, it not only saves the equipment information acquired to the local database, but also synchronously calls the interface through the HTTP to transfer the data to the Web server. Then, administrators can use the WeChat browser to request WeChat web pages of Web server to see how the equipment works.There are two main innovations in the design and technology implementation of this subject. First, on the premise that multiple independent EMSs share a WeChat public platform, design and implement the authorization and authentication scheme for WeChat users based on user group management interface and web page authorization interface of WeChat public platform. WeChat public platform is totally open to the public, and anyone can follow it. This scheme realizes the authorization and authentication for WeChat users without requesting them to do any account registration, binding and login operations. This scheme has various characteristics such as information isolation among multiple EMSs, safe authorization for new WeChat followers and WeChat users authentication without login, which is superior to the usual user account management. Second, in order to realize the function of confirmation and clearing the alarm by WeChat users through the mobile terminal, design and implement a server push scheme based on the HTTP long connection technology. This scheme greatly reduces the system overhead of setting up HTTP connections frequently, thus it is an innovation point in the technology implementation. Through process analysis and test, this scheme is proved to be simple, efficient and stable,and it also takes account of both system operation efficiency and real-time performance, which demonstrates obvious advantages as compared with the common short polling push scheme.The system has good real-time performance and stability with the characteristics of mobile and convenient, which has certain technical value and practical significance in the field of digital television. WeChat public platform is still growing and has great potential. In the near future,it will play an important role in the field of mobile Internet. Therefore,the research of this subject has certain development prospects and practical value.
