With the rise of the national fitness boom,people’s demand for fitness products has gradually increased.Many domestic and foreign IT technology companies have started investing in smart wearable devices.Smart wearable devices have been widely accepted by the market as a hot spot in the smart terminal industry.How to connect smart wearable products with users and how users understand and use smart wearable products has become a top priority in design.This thesis analyzes the application methods in gamification APP design,combines the characteristics of smart wearable products,and summarizes the gamification design strategies that drive the users’ fitness behavior.Employing a systematic gamification design framework model and building a data service platform strives to create a perfect users experience.Users’ internal core driving force is the core design in order to make the fitness training more professional and to achieve the goal faster and better,thereby increasing the users’ stickiness to the products and keeping the users active.The thesis consists of three parts.In the first part,it is the development status of smart wearable apparel and products both at home and abroad,the research and analysis of gamification design theories,as well as the summary of core design features and basic steps of gamification design to provide a theoretical basis for design.In the second part,it is a proposal of the new design framework after a deep analysis and combination of the products,along with elaboration of the feasibility of combing this method with smart wearable products.In the last part,it is the application of the gamification design strategies: to present the APP design in a visual way and perform corresponding user testing and optimization with the subdivided research of target users,extraction of their sports requirements,organization of the logic and relationships of the modules,and determination of the interactive framework structure.This thesis connects the gamification elements with the emerging smart wearable products,resulting in a new gamification design strategy.It extends the multi-field application of gamification design,and offers significant experience to gamification interaction design.At the same time,it supplies certain reference and guidance for the design and research of similar products and projects of companies and institutions related to smart wearables.
