Design And Implementation Of Inventory Management System In ERP

Inventory management is a crucial link in the supply chain management.In the process of purchasing,production and sales,inventory management makes the relative independent economic activities possible.Inventory management related to the stability and continuity of enterprise production and operation,also become an important embodiment of enterprise competitiveness.How to make the management of manufacturing enterprises from orders to production and then shipping effective becomes an urgent problem to be solved.This paper is based on inventory management system of the dry film manufacturing enterprise E company based on the ERP model.The system has achieved invoicing management system of the ERP model based on the C/S mode using C# technology.This paper has briefly introduced the development status of the ERP system at home and abroad.By making the marketing research needs on the inventory management of E company,we have designed seven modules of inventory management,and emphatically introduced the order management module,inventory management module,purchasing management module,material management module and shipment scheduling module.The user can use the system to manage the whole process of the dry film from orders,procurement,production to shipments,and can always check the stock status to make decision on inventory status better.At the same time,the information management process of E company has been realized by the integration of Lotus Notes and ERP background database,and then paperless office has been achieved.By the inventory management system of the ERP system,we wish to achieve the best business process management,reduce operating costs,standardize enterprise approval process,improve the core competitiveness of enterprises.The development of the system starts from research and demand analysis,and then system design,system implementation,system testing,etc.The system realizes the functions of purchase management,inventory management,shipment scheduling management,supplier management,customer management,etc.After taking full requirements investigation,giving the strict logic design and development combined with the characteristics of E company,we have developed inventory management system of ERP using Oracle database.The needs of the dry film manufacturing for invoicing management have been basically satisfied.And it can help managers to solve practical difficulties,improve their work efficiency,and save operating costs.
