Human resource management is an important part of modern enterprise management, it relates to the rise and fall of the development of enterprises. The performance evaluation of staff performance appraisal as an important way, of course,becomes an essential part of corporate human resources management. Bus driver, as the window of the city's public service and the major force of the transportation industry, plays an irreplaceable role in urban development and social services.However performance appraisal and salary management system are very different due to forms of public transport and road conditions in different provinces, cities and regions. There is a serious brain drain in this line for drivers' low enthusiasm due to high work pressure and low salary. Human resource management and performance appraisal theory in this paper aims to achieve corporate objective, improve performance management and ultimately maximize the value of the company, which based on studying the problems existed in its current driver performance appraisal system.Firstly, the drivers' basic information are introduced to analyze the status quo of the drivers performance management, diagnose the performance management through questionnaire survey and point out problems existed in its current drivers performance management. Then, the article raised target, principles and ideas to improve drivers performance management, and made specific improvement program from performance plan, performance evaluation methods, performance indicators by using star management mode and enhancing communication and feedback etc. Finally the article raised anticipated goal and safeguard measures on the improvement plan of Changsha Red Bus Company driver performance management from three sides as anticipated goal, implementation barriers and safeguards.Through the performance appraisal and evaluation of performance for the driver to distinguish, as the salary distribution operations Changsha Red Bus Company driver, promotion, training, provides an objective standard, forming a more equitable work environment, so that the cohesion been enhanced to create the space for the driver of sustainable development, enhance the cohesion to ensure long-term stable business line workforce. Also, because the majority of our city's transportation enterprise performance management operations are in a starting phase, so this paperthrough a combination of theory and practice, I hope to provide the company and other bus companies with a reference, but also contribute to enhance the city bus industry's competitiveness.
