Decision-making, as an important activity in education management, is the core of management. For years, many experts and scholars have made empirical study and theoretical research from different angles and directions in this aspect, with many valuable suggestions proposed. But there are few researches on the education management decisions guided by the "student-oriented" theory. Students, the object and subject of education, are the starting point and destination of educational activities, which occupy an irreplaceable role in educational activities, and the education management activities are closely related with students' studying, living and development. Along with the change of students' ideological concept as well as their diversified individual development needs, in education management, the traditional method of education management decisions can not meet the new situation any more. Therefore, the "student-oriented" theory, as the guiding ideology of the research and analysis of problems in education management decision, is really necessary to actively seek effective measures to adapt to the needs and development of student.First, this paper describes the research background, significance, and research status and research ideas in related fields as well as methods used. Then, it sets forth the understanding of the scientific education management decision-making and research basis under the concept of "student-oriented" theory. Contents and features are outlined below in education management decisions guided by "student-oriented" theory. Also, the theoretical basis as well as significance of decision-making under the "student-centered" theory of education management decisions would be illustrated.Then, based on the students, the essay reviews and analyzes literature collected, and summarizes five main problems existing in the education management decisions: First, management decision-making objectives:too much emphasis is lied on student control instead of student development; second, student participation in management decision-making:substance is over form; third, basis of the management decision-making information:Executive Decision is weighted more than the actual needs of students; Fourth, communication in management decisions:the process of transmit is valued more than questions and appeals; fifth, the result of management decisions:more attention is paid on homogeneity than personality and related issues. To analyze these problems, it finds out that the problems in educational management decision are caused by the confine of the traditional concept of education management to policy-makers'thoughts, external environmental constraints on education management decisions, unscientific education management system, the incomplete student decision-making supervision system and other causes.Finally, based on the "student-oriented" theory and under the cause analysis of problems in education management decisions, the author puts forward countermeasures, considering that the problems in education management decisions should be handled under the guidance of "student-oriented" theory, and we should establish a "student-oriented" theory of education management decisions as well as start to improve and perfect the two main aspects of education management decision-making system. In terms of philosophy, policy makers should establish a "student first" concept and figure out the decision-making objectives; show respect to the students'free choices and promote their free development; follow the law of physical and mental development of students and protect their healthy growth; show respect to the individual differences and promote their personality development; In terms of improving the system of education management decision-making, the work should be based on the reality of students and emphasis on the collection as well as forecast on student information; enhance communication with students and ease decision-making conflict; implement a system of student participation an enrich decision-making body; track and correct decision-making timely and meet the actual needs of student development; improve student supervision system and protect their interests; establish the sound accountability system and entrust students actual rights.
