With the rapid development of China's economy, in order to deal with the severe increasing challenges, the enterprises have to search new competitive advantages. Pull production, gradually becomes a effective way to help manufacturing enterprise finishing transformation and upgrading. Therefore, further study of pull production has important theoretical and practical significance. As a medical device manufacturing enterprise, Company S has been facing various competitive pressure during its rapid development. Internal management problems and global competitive pressure are pushing the company to find a suitable management mechanism by the implementation of pull production.By researching the background and purpose, this thesis assessed the implementation status in both domestic and oversea countries. And then, this thesis analyzed the basic theory of pull production management inductively. After explanation of Pull Production concepts and principles, according to the actual situation in S Company, analyzed the current operation status to get further root cause. With Pull Production spirit and methodology, to let some problems with exposure, such as long line change over time, long lead time of production, lower site management level, lower production efficiency and high inventory as well. The paper undertook specific design and implementation research according the problems, reduce line change over time by change the operation from online to offline; reduce production lead time by balance production line according takt time, setup pull production team and target, train lean technology, implement 5S to let operator perform his best efficiency by giving him a safe and neat working environment, meanwhile improve the site management level; reduce inventory by JIT purchasing, KANBAN tool and improve inventory management level and so on. Lastly, with positive result, proves Pull Production can eliminate the wastes, control the cost, improve the management skills and competitiveness in S Company. Through studying on pull production seriously, this paper plays a guiding role on carrying out pull production in Company S. And supplies reference for similar enterprises to carry out pull production.
