| In order to promote the economic development and upgrad the economic structure of China, we should pay more and more attention to high-tech industry which is a new power of economic development.Growth Enterprise Market(GME),with continuously exploration and reform,has been more and more better. But compared to the main board market, we must notice that GEM still has many weaknesses,such as:in the midsize family-owned companies,their founders often hold the actual control rights,making the function of board weakened greatly; in addition, as the high creativity and risks characteristics of GEM, investors are willing to give very high growing expectations on GEM. Therefore, we have to strengthen the governance of board of directors and improve the growth of enterprises which have a significant impact on the enterprise value.Before the evidence-based analysis in this paper, literature review is necessary. The author expounds the theory of board characteristics and the growth of enterprises, based of that, the author wish make a study of the relationship between board characteristics, the growth of enterprises and the enterprise value. In this paper, the author use Spss16.0 statistical software to gather and analyse data from 355 companies.And the author chose three analysis method,such as descriptive statistical analysis, principal component analysis and regression analysis. The author use descriptive statistical analysis method to analys board characteristics,use principal component analysis method to analys the growth of enterprises and use regression analysis method to analys the relationship between board characteristics, the growth of enterprises and the enterprise value.In this paper, based on the findings of evidence-based analysis, the author put forward the constructive suggestions on how to strengthen the governance of board and improve the growth of enterprises, The author wish this study can improve the development of the GEM. |
