With China's rapid economic growth in the twenty-first century, the demand for electricity supply is increasing. China's nuclear power industry is entering a period of rapid development, against the background of the global trend of energy saving and emissions reduction as well as China's imminent energy structure adjustment. By the end of 2014, China has 20 nuclear units in service with total installed capacity of 181.3 trillion and 28 units in construction with total installed capacity of 316.3 trillion. According to the latest statistics, China's nuclear power units generated 131.2 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in 2004, which represented 2.38% of the country's total capacity and hit a new record in history. As China's nuclear power industry is developing fast, the whole society are paying more attention to the nuclear safety.The company culture expresses the enterprise's core value, which influences corporate operation and management and further guides the enterprise to develop and grow. Nuclear safety is the lifeline of nuclear enterprises. Therefore, construction of nuclear safety culture is the top priority of the task.This dissertation first reviews the current theoretical studies and practical situations of company culture and (nuclear) safety culture both in China and abroad. Then it analyses the achievements of the DH nuclear power group in nuclear safety culture construction and the problems it has encountered. The dissertation finally seeks some reasonable solutions to those problems. |
