Research On The Living Condition Of The Migrant Workers In Dalian City

With the proceeding of reform and opening-up, as well as the development of economic globalization, the agricultural production efficiency is increased in China. A large number of migrant workers crowd into the city. They become the important component of urban population and play a critical role in development of city. But many migrant workers can not live comfortably, living condition need to be improved urgently.This article is based on the actual situation of Dalian city, It compares the living condition of Dalian to other domestic region through interview on site, paper investigation and data analysis. It summarizes the problems and causes of living condition of migrant workers in Dalian, and give the suggestions and specific measures of improving living condition of migrant workers in Dalian area.At present, the existing in Dalian is poor condition, bad environment, imperfect facility, inadequate protection of the rights and interests of migrant workers. There are a few reasons caused this problem. The first is low income, poor payment capacity and high mobility. The second is the two policy of insurance for urban and rural area caused by government census register system, lacking the housing security system of migrant workers. The third is housing system is over market, not good management for housing rental system. Therefore, the living condition of migrant workers need to be improved in Dalian. We should insist on the thought of people-oriented approach, the scientific concept of development as the principle of guidance, through the different ways of living demands of migrant workers. In order to improve the living condition step by step, implement transfer strategy of migrant workers into citizens, to encourage the building of standard dormitory by employment unit, to improve the facility and service of living area of migrant workers. Give the better living condition to migrant workers by accelerating the reform of household registration system, improving the housing security system for migrant workers. Gradually promote the inclusion of migrant workers into housing security system by cultivation and standardization of low end market, finally improve the living condition of migrant workers.
