| With the coming of Industry 4.0 and Internet Plus, information technology has deeply integrated within manufacturing and others. Construction and application of informatization is the demand and inevitable choice of the times. As important and basic informationalized facilities, DC(Data Center) is supposed to get great opportunities. However, DC is blamed for energy-extensive consumption, high cost and low security, which urgently needs to be solved.VE(Value Engineering) theory is a series of scientific methods to get higher value with lower cost under the function limit, which is an excellent combination of technology and economics. VE is a useful tool to increase the function and quality of the project and decrease the cost, therefore, it has been widely used in construction industry, especially in the optimization of design plan. However, VE is seldom used and studied in the optimization of the design of DC. Thus, it has practical significance to draw VE into the optimization of the design of DC to enhance the function, quality and cost efficiency.This thesis researches the relative theories and procedures of VE, the development of DC and evaluation criterion of Green DC. Foreign and domestic research and application status of above are introduced. Meanwhile, this paper analyses feasibility and necessity of using VE and the value in DC construction. By modeling with FAST, AHP and Weighted scoring method, the best plan is successfully selected out of the alternatives. Furthermore, the selected plan is decomposed into modules and then is analyzed by VE based on 0-10 force definition method. Eventually, specific to the value problems, some improvements are suggested and carried out, so the selected plan was optimized.Through the case study of the application of VE in the optimization of DC’s construction, this thesis proves it to be valid. It can not only decrease the life cycle cost of the construction, but also increase the function, quality and security of DC, so that PUE and energy consumption can be reduced. This highly improves the level of informatization and competitiveness of company and provides reliable technological guarantee for better economic activities. |
