Schneider Data Center Product Development Project Schedule Plan And Control

Since the 1980 s, project management has stepped into the modern project management phase and put the traditional project management behind it. After that, project management is developing quickly as the developing of modern society and human civilization. Meanwhile, the methodology and tools of project management has been developed as well, and they are able to be used in every single field and industry. In general, project management is becoming more and more important within our corporations and society. But, we always see there is some problem to use certain methodology and tools of project management in reality, like what tool is appropriate for project schedule setup, what tool is appropriate for project schedule control? How could we optimize them based each real conditions?Schneider ITB I work for is focusing on data center solution business. It offers all the products in data center except server. Data center product development is one of the key activities of Schneider ITB. Namely, project management takes a very important role during product development.Considering above questions, I will analyze what problems is in the company project management system and figure out how I should solve them by using tools of WBS, PERT, dynamic project schedule control and project team organization etc.
