CSR Case Study Of ZJ Mining Investment Project In Peru

In the past decades, by the continuous development of China's economy and continuous increasing of resource demand, more and more Chinese corporations expanded their overseas business and set various companies abroad through merger, buying a share, direct investment etc.For many of these corporations, their investments did not produce reasonable profits, this is not because of mistakes of investment decision but insufficient recognition about corporation social responsibility and backward system construction of corporation social responsibility, so the corporations could not integrate into local society by the realization of corporation social responsibility.The investment project of ZJ mining in Peru is one typical case of corporation social responsibility management deficiency. This article tries to analyze this typical case carefully by utilizing the theories of corporation social responsibility, ethic and others related theories, then find out its direct and deep reasons and give relevant solution.The article is composed by five parts.Part one:This part mainly introduces the investigation background and significance, then summarizes the investigation contents and text structure.Part two:As the case body, this part introduces the backgrounds of mining industry and ZJ mining at first, then presents some details about the investment project in Peru, lastly shows the all kinds of issues ZJ mining met according to the time sequence.Part three:This part is case analysis. Firstly this part introduces related theories including corporation social responsibility, stakeholder, demarcation of social responsibility, corporate citizenship and ethical decision making, then utilizes these theories to analyze the case and find out the reasons.Part four:This part is countermeasure and solution, contains strategic management of CSR, compliance management, multinational culture management, ethical decision making and educating.Part five:This part draws a conclusion and gives some expectations.
