Since reform and opening up, China's private enterprises has rapidly develop. the number of private enterprises have continued to increase, and the entire China's influence has been underestimated. Both the enterprise and human resource research are concerning the core employee turnover problem. With the improvement of private enterprise system of separation of ownership and management,the growing number of private enterprises began to employ a large number of professional managers to manage the company. These managers are typically hold important positions in the enterprise and hold some power. As core employees, not only their thinking mode and behavior patterns will make certain effect to other employees, their departure behavior will also bring immeasurable loss for enterprises. However, in recent years, managers' turnover is frequent phenomenon., private enterprise managers leave problem is particularly acute.The science problem is the relationship between the locus of control of mangers and the turnover intention.The research has four parts. Firstly, we combed through many articles for the current situation of locus of control and the stess role of managers. Secondly, based on the personality theory and Role Theory, it constructs a theoretical model.Thirdly, through the revision to the scale of locus of control,role stress, and turnover intention based on the literature research it finally forms the questionnaire, results show that the questionnaire has good reliability and validity. Finally, it evaluates the mediation effect of role stress between locus of control and turnover intention.The results are as follows.(1) Locus of control will negatively affect managers' turnover intention;(2) Locus of control will negatively affect managers' role stress;(3) Role stress will positively affect managers' turnover intention;(3) Role stress mediates between locus of control and turnover intention.Based on these results, this paper puts forward the following suggestions:(1)Enterprises in Sichuan Private attach importance to and take measures to reduce the pressure on the role of managers,which is the important means to solve the problem of managers' satisfaction;(2)Private enterprise managers in Sichuan Province should pay attention to the cognition of self role stress, learn to release pressure,communicate effectively.(3)Private enterprise managers in Sichuan Province should have positive energy, change the way of individual cognition,face the problems and pressure actively.Based on the results the main conclusions are as follows.(1) Personality assessment techniques(eg, locus of control tend assessment) should be applied to enterprise managers' job interview and post-selection.(2) Organization should adopt various measures to cope with role stress to reduce the turnover intention;(2) One way to increase manager's job satisfaction is to improve his positive mood;(3) private enterprise managers should pay much attention to role stress learn to release stress and make an effective communication, thereby reducing the role of pressure,especially the negative impact of the role conflict on turnover intention.
