Dated April 16, 2015, vice minister of Mao Weiming indicated that the number of small and medium-sized enterprises is 66.66 million households in our country,accounting for 99% of the total number in the 12 th China international sme expo press conference.Small and medium-sized enterprises contributing to 50% of tax,60% of GDP, 70% of the invention patent, and 80% of jobs in our country. Thus,small and medium-sized enterprises play an important role in meeting the demand of residents,increasing tax scale, enhancing the vitality of the economy,providing jobs. It is an important part of our socialist market economy,is to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation strong power of the "China dream".There are many problems for small and medium-sized enterprise at present.For example,transformation innovation bottleneck, financing difficulties. It is imperative to improve competitiveness through a variety of channels recently.The most effective method is to provide a good economic development environment, small and medium-sized enterprises using the favorable environment and policies to improve its ability of development.The Internet is currently or has changed the environment for SME development, the market shift from the seller to the buyer, companies increasingly blur the boundaries even unbounded, enterprise scope and manner of use of resources are changing.The internet is a new way and opportunity for small and medium enterprises to enhance the advantage of market, to optimize the internal organization structure, to broaden the financing channels, and to expand the market space provides. Therefore, this article considers the Internet as small and medium-sized enterprises break through the dilemma of the current way, researches the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises based on the age of the Internet.This article based on enterprise competition theory.It is a innovative way to integrate the level linked to the Internet economy environment into the evaluation system.Then,the index system contains two aspects,one is static appears on competitiveness, the other is potential competitiveness. Then, this paper uses the method of combining qualitative and quantitative analysis on the development statusunder the the background of the new era of the Internet, the level of competitiveness,the use of new opportunities and challenges,the method of SWOT analysis for small and medium enterprises to enhance competitiveness in the face. Finally,recommendations for small and medium-sized enterprises to raise their competitiveness, small and medium-sized enterprises want to empower yourself to think in the Internet, with an open mind to meet the arrival of the "Internet + small and medium-sized enterprises", using the Internet and develop themselves with the depth of fusion, more competitive.
