With the rapid development of the economy, construction projects are rapidly developing as the national pillar industry. As an important part of the construction project, engineering procurement accounts for a larger proportion of the project contract, risks are easy to occur due to the information asymmetry and their profit-driven during the engineering procurement process, affecting the achievement of both parties' desired objectives, so project procurement risk management should be paid more attention to.Risk identification is an important part of risk management, the paper introduced the supply chain to project engineering procurement, analyzed the difference between engineering procurement supply chain and manufacturing supply chain, giving a detailed analysis of engineering procurement supply chain. Analysis of potential risk factors were obtained through literature review, there are some risk factors in the supply process, procurement process and distribution process, all the risk factors were used to design the risk assessment questionnaire to get the results of the attitude of risk experts. The relationship among the potential risk factors were analyzed by statistical software SPSS to establish engineering procurement risk assessment index. With the consideration of risk assessment hesitation of people's attitude towards the risks, interval intuitionistic fuzzy judgment matrix was used to evaluate the risk factors of Engineering Procurement. Finally, the process of building engineering procurement risk monitoring system was given.This paper focuses on the engineering procurement risk identification process, risk evaluation index was established through statistical analysis of questionnaire. Then the model interval intuitionistic fuzzy judgment matrix was established to evaluate the engineering procurement risks, finally the project procurement risk monitoring system and procurement optimization strategy were given.
