Under the unique historical and cultural background, China has formed a different way of thinking with the West. Gloden-mean Thinking in Chinese culture as the most important part- the soul of Confucian culture, which all affect the Chinese people's thinking and behavior. In recent years, although the field of psychology for the study of gloden-mean thinking gradually enriched, however, seldom did some scholars try to apply this construct into leadership theory, especially to explore the effect of leaders' golden-mean thinking on employee performance.400 questionnaires were allocated in this study, in the public services( in addition to schools and hospitals), Xinxiang city in Henan Province. 318 valid questionnaires received. In this study to explore in depth of leader's gloden-mean thinking, employee performance, communication satisfaction and personal identity traditional this four variables.In this study, finally drawn conclusions as follows:1. Leader's gloden-mean thinking and employee performance in positive correlation.2. Communication satisfaction partially mediated the impact of leader's gloden-mean thinking and employee performance; personal identity traditional takes moderating role between leader's gloden-mean thinking and performance performance.3. Leader's gloden-mean thinking, employee performance, communication satisfaction and personal identity traditional constitutes a moderated mediation model among this four variables.4. Personal identity traditional moderate back path of the mediation model, and affect the direct path of leader's gloden-meaning thinking and employee performance.5. Individual characteristics variables have differences impact on leader's gloden-mean thinking variables, including gender, age, position, educational background, working hours, job characteristics, age of leadership and leadership positions.
